Siti Ethiopian Landrace - Washed
Summary
This coffee comes from the Gedeb woreda in the Gedeo zone of Ethiopia, specifically from the Chelbesa area. It is produced by Siti, a producer in the region. The coffee is a blend of Ethiopian landrace varieties, typical of the region. It is processed using a washed method: hand-picked at peak ripeness, floated, de-pulped, density separated, fermented underwater for 36 hours, and dried on raised beds for 10-14 days. Grown at 2,200 meters above sea level, this lot reflects the distinct character of Gedeb, a relatively new coffee-producing area.
