Sike Bokasso Ethiopian Landrace - Washed
Summary
This lot from the Sike Bokasso community in Guji, Ethiopia, was separated from some of the highest elevations in the region. Though grown in Guji, the coffee was processed and dried at the Halo Hartume site in neighboring Gedeb. The processing involves hand-picking, floating, a 12-hour in-cherry hold, de-pulping, dry and wet fermentation, meticulous hand-washing, and shade-drying. The variety is Ethiopian Landrace, a term for the diverse local heirloom varieties.
