Komothai
Summary
A vibrant and light Kenyan coffee from around 30 smallholder producers in the Ngewa-Komothai region of Kiambu County. Grown at 1,600-2,000 meters above sea level, this washed lot features SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties. It offers a full acidity with notes of young raspberry, lime, and peach. The coffee is dry fermented for about 24 hours, washed with clean river water, and dried on raised beds. It is graded AA and roasted as an omni roast, suitable for both filter and espresso.
