Summary
A washed coffee from the Kathakwa Coffee Factory in Embu County, Kenya, grown at 1600m above sea level on volcanic soils near Mt Kenya. Around 3,500 smallholder farmers contribute to this lot, which is predominantly SL28 and SL34 varieties. The cup is bright and fruity with notes of raspberry, blood orange, and pink grapefruit. Roasted omni for both filter and espresso, best enjoyed black.
