Chelelectu
Summary
This Ethiopian coffee comes from the Chelelectu community in the Gedeo zone of Yirgacheffe, grown by 700 smallholders on small family plots. It is a mix of native Ethiopian heirloom varieties, processed using the washed method: hand-sorted cherries are pulped, fermented under water for 24-36 hours, graded in washing channels, soaked, and sun-dried on raised beds for 10-15 days. The cup offers flavours of concord grape and tea, with a light omni roast suitable for both filter and espresso. Grown at 1950 meters above sea level.
