Summary
Meraki Gakuyu AA is a Kenyan microlot coffee from the Gakuyu-ini Factory in Kirinyaga County, at the foot of Mount Kenya. It belongs to the Thirikwa Farmers' Cooperative Society. The coffee is grown on fertile volcanic soils using SL28 and SL34 varieties, processed using the washed method with fermentation and hand-sorting. It is roasted as an espresso in Berlin and delivers a flavour profile of cranberry, sweet almonds, and juicy pomelo with a bright, balanced cup and crisp finish.
