Summary
Getuya PB is a rare peaberry microlot from Kenya's Kirinyaga region, produced by the Mwirua Farmers Cooperative Society at the Getuya Coffee Factory. Grown by over 900 smallholder farmers at approximately 1540 meters altitude on volcanic soils. The coffee consists of SL-28, SL-34, Batian, and Ruiru 11 varieties, processed using the washed method and dried on African beds. Roasted as an espresso with a flavor profile featuring grape, pomelo, and red berry, offering a pleasantly sweet and complex cup with creamy texture, low acidity, and medium sweetness.
