Excelso is a washed single origin coffee from Colombia's Cauca region, grown at 1400-2000 metres above sea level near Piendamó. Sourced through Cafe Imports' Gran Galope program from small farmers, it features Caturra and Castillo varieties. The flavour profile offers notes of chocolate, black plum, and caramel, with a creamy texture, medium-high body, and medium-high sweetness.
