Costa Rica Volcán Azul
Summary
Single origin Costa Rican coffee from Alajuela, West Valley, grown above 1400 MASL in volcanic soils by Alejo Kahle Castro, descendant of a pioneering Costa Rican coffee family. The SL28 variety is naturally processed: ripe cherries are dried whole on raised beds for 12 to 16 days with controlled fermentation and slow drying. The cup is clean and juicy with notes of plum, peach, cherry and jasmine, balanced by bright acidity and lingering sweetness. Roasted for filter.
