Timana Decaf
Summary
Timana Decaf is a decaffeinated coffee from Colombia, produced by the women's cooperative ASMUCAFE in the Cauca region. It is grown at altitudes between 1400 and 2000 meters and consists of Caturra, Colombia, and Castillo varieties. The coffee undergoes a double-fermentation process followed by washing, and is decaffeinated using the EA sugar cane method. It offers notes of milk chocolate, clementine, and malt, with a rich, nougat-like sweetness and a malty finish. Roasted slowly to preserve fruity aromatics, it is suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
