This coffee comes from the Chelbesa washing station in the Gedeb district of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. It is produced by 765 smallholder farmers who deliver ripe red cherries to the station, which was built by SNAP Specialty Coffee in 2019. The station features ceramic fermentation tanks that retain heat, accelerating fermentation and resulting in a particularly clear cup. The coffee is of the Wolisho and Dega varieties, processed using the washed method, and offers notes of mirabelle plum, raspberry, and citrus blossom.
