Summary
Single-origin coffee from Colombia, produced by José Herman Salazar at Finca La Guaca in Pitalito, Huila. Cultivar is Ají Landrace, a rare first-generation offspring from wild Ethiopian coffee forests, discovered by José who isolated these trees for their distinct sweet red pepper aroma. Processed using anaerobic washed method. Grown at 1798 meters above sea level. Flavour notes include green mango, lemongrass, and blueberry. This coffee placed sixth in the Colombia Cup of Excellence.
