Tulise
Summary
A coffee from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region, produced by Negusse and processed at the Tulise washing station. Grown at 1,880-2,350 meters above sea level, this lot uses traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties including Kudhume and Dega. The natural anaerobic process involves fermenting whole cherries in sealed tanks for 110 hours, then drying on raised beds for about 23 days. The cup is vibrant and complex with intense fruit expression, great sweetness, and an elegant structure, featuring notes of tropical fruit, stone fruit, citrus, and liquor.
