Kainamui Pb

Summary

Kainamui PB is a Kenyan single origin coffee from the Kainamui washing station, which services about 1800 smallholder farmers each owning around 200 coffee trees. The coffee is grown on red volcanic soil and features SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian varieties. It undergoes washed processing with cherry pulped, fermented for 16-20 hours, then washed and sorted by weight. The beans are soaked underwater for 24 hours before drying on raised tables. The flavour profile offers blackcurrant, cranberry, and toffee notes.
