China Gui Ben Espresso
Summary
A single-origin Chinese coffee from the Gui Ben area of Yunnan, near Pu'er and the Laos border. Cherries come from the farms of Yunnan Coffee Traders, managed by Tian Cai with day-to-day operations run by Tang, together with surrounding smallholders. Cherries are spread in a thin layer on raised beds for two to three days, then raked and dried for a further 25 days before sorting. Roasted relatively light for espresso, giving a long finish with a sweet yellow plum character, almonds and muscovado sugar.
