Summary
Costa Rica Tobosi Rum Aged is a 100% Arabica specialty coffee from Hacienda Tobosi in the El Guarco region of Cartago, Costa Rica, grown at 1,450 meters above sea level. It is made from the Red Catuaí variety and processed with an anaerobic method followed by rum barrel aging in wooden barrels from Centenario rum for one week. The cup is balanced with sweet, fruity and subtly alcoholic notes, including chocolate, cocoa, caramel, maple syrup, green grapes and a gentle hint of rum. Cupping score: 89.
