Sumatra Bebagi Kepada
Summary
Sumatra Bebagi Kepada is a single origin coffee from the Lintong, Tapanuli region of Sumatra, Indonesia. It is produced by smallholder farmers on family-run farms of 0.5 to 2.5 hectares. The coffee consists of Andung Sari, S795, Tim-Tim, and Typica varieties, grown at altitudes of 1,200 to 1,700 meters above sea level. It is processed using the traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulled) method, unique to Indonesia, where the coffee is hulled at a high moisture content of 30-40% after pulping and fermentation. The cup profile offers cocoa nib, savory herbal depth, and a subtle oak barrel finish.
