Chepkuletyo
Summary
Chepkuletyo is a washed coffee from Kenya, produced by the Chepkuletyo Farmer's Cooperative in the Kericho region at 1600-2000 metres above sea level. The cooperative, part of Kapkoros Coffee Ventures Ltd, has approximately 600 members, mostly women. The coffee is processed at the Boma Washing Station, where it is handpicked, sorted, soaked overnight, and dried on raised beds or in greenhouse-like structures. It features SL-28, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties, offering flavour notes of vine ripened tomatoes and juicy lemon.
