Kii Pb
Summary
Kenyan coffee from the Kii Factory in Kirinyaga, owned and operated by the Rung'eto Farmers Cooperative Society, whose 850+ smallholder members selectively handpick ripe cherry. Varieties SL-28, SL-34, Batian and Ruiru 11 are pulped, fermented 16-24 hours, washed in water from the Kii River, soaked 12 hours and dried on raised beds for about 14 days. The cup shows a clean, classic Kenyan profile with abundant sweetness, berry acidity and a jammy mouthfeel — cranberry jelly, blackcurrant jam and fresh gooseberries. Suited to filter brewing and modern espresso styles.
