Summary

The Buliza coffee washing station is located in the Rulindo district of Rwanda. Farmers from the UCOCARU cooperative union deliver their fresh coffee cherries to Buliza for centralized processing. This dark-roasted single origin coffee offers tasting notes of fig, molasses, and dark chocolate. The coffee is grown at high elevation in Rwanda, creating dense beans suitable for darker roasting styles. Counter Culture has partnered with Ikawa House (run by Laetitia Mukandahiro and Uzziel Habimana) to source this coffee, paying $3.92 FOB per pound.
