Summary
A single-origin coffee from Finca Castelgazzo in El Salvador's Montecristo/Trifinio region. The farm, founded in 1995 by Mario and La Geña Cristiani and continued by their daughters, sits in the buffer zone of Montecristo National Park within the Trifinio Biosphere Reserve. Grown at 1,450-1,780 m.a.s.l., it features Kenya, Bourbon, Pacamara and Geisha varieties, washed processed with fermentation and sun-drying, and roasted medium. Flavour notes include honey, red berries, stone fruit and milk chocolate with a floral, berry aroma and a medium, smooth body. Best enjoyed as a filter/pour over.
