Summary
A single-origin coffee from Peru, sourced from the Juan Marco El Palto processing station. Grown by smallholder farmers in the El Palto region of the Peruvian Andes at 1300-1800m elevation on volcanic soil. Varieties include Caturra, Typica, and Catimor. The coffee is wet processed and sun dried, then roasted to Full City level. The flavor profile features cocoa, sweet chocolate, and cane sugar notes with a big, strong body and a finish reminiscent of grapefruit and orange zest with mild acidity and bitterness.
