Honduras Santa Rosa
Summary
Honduras Santa Rosa is a dark roasted (Full City) single-origin coffee from the Santa Rosa de Copán region of Honduras, grown at 1100-1600 meters altitude on volcanic soil by local smallholder farmers. The beans are hand-picked, wet processed, and sun dried. Varieties include Caturra, Bourbon, and Catuai. The flavor profile is dominated by heavy chocolate and cocoa tones with mild, decent acidity, complemented by notes of hazelnut, caramel, and a slightly fruity finish with caramelized cane sugar. The body is medium-strong and creamy.
