The roaster

Campervan Coffee Co
Campervan Coffee Co

Campervan Coffee Co is a specialty coffee roaster based in a converted barn thirty minutes from London, founded in 2015 by a former fishmonger turned coffee obsessive. It all started with Rolf—a 1976 VW campervan the founder and his wife drove across Europe and North Africa. After helping set up a Hitchin coffee shop later named one of the UK's top 50, he launched Campervan to serve coffee from that very van at street food markets, learning to roast on a tiny machine. Today they produce small-batch blends (Type 25, Type 6.1) and a Swiss Water decaf, supplying cafes, restaurants and hotels across the UK. Order online or subscribe for regular deliveries. No cafe of their own, but bags of adventurous spirit.
