Aricha – Etiopía
Summary
A natural anaerobic processed coffee from the Aricha area in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, grown at 2100 meters. Heirloom varieties are cultivated traditionally in small family plots under shade trees. The cherries are fermented in barrels for nine days and slowly dried for 13-18 days at the Konga Yirgacheffe washing station. The cup offers a fruity and enzymatic fragrance with notes of orange liqueur, aromatic herbs, yellow tropical fruits, cocoa nibs, caramel, and butter, featuring an oily body, medium/high acidity, and a long fruity and liqueur-like finish. Scored 91.5 SCA.
