Summary

Kenyan single origin coffee from the Karimikui Factory, produced by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County. The cooperative, founded in 1953, gathers around 3500 smallholder farmers. Ripe cherries are selectively handpicked, sorted, pulped, fermented, washed and sun dried at the factory before grading. Grown at 1770-1900 metres on SL28 and SL34 varieties. Syrupy body with prominent acidity and deep fruit notes of black currant, sandalwood, lime and honey.
