Single origin filter coffee from Costa Rica's Central Valley, produced by Diego Guardia at Hacienda Sonora. The Villalobos variety is naturally processed (dried on patios with the cherry fruit intact for 15 days). Grown at 1,400m on volcanic soil with organic methods and shade-grown. Tasting notes: roasted almond, plum, and molasses. Cupping score of 87. Suitable for filter preparation methods such as V60, Chemex, French press, and Moccamaster.
