Summary

Simbi Natural is a single origin espresso coffee from the Huye region of Rwanda, Africa. Produced by Abdul Rudahunga at the Simbi Washing Station, which processes coffee from nearly 1,500 smallholder farms. The coffee consists of Bourbon variety beans grown at 1,850 meters above sea level on fertile, biologically farmed soils under shade. It undergoes natural processing where the coffee cherries are dried with their skin intact, allowing the beans to absorb the fruit's sweetness. The cup profile offers notes of toffee, blueberry jam, and fig, with a juicy mouthfeel and full body. It scored 88.5 points.
