Ngororero Washed
Summary
A single origin filter coffee from the Ngororero Washing Station in Rwanda's Western Province, produced by the RWACOF cooperative of approximately 1,405 local farmers. The Bourbon variety coffee is grown at 1,600-2,000 meters above sea level on fertile volcanic soils under shade, and processed using the washed method with a 10-hour fermentation followed by 12-21 days of sun-drying on raised beds. This light filter roast presents flavour notes of grape, honeycomb, and orange blossom, with crisp fresh berry notes and a velvety honey caramel sweetness. Harvest year 2024/25. Scored 87 points.
