Severan

Severan is a specialty coffee roaster from Poprad, Slovakia, tucked under the Tatras. It grew out of Oto Caffé, a café that started with Italian coffee more than a decade ago and spent years tasting with customers before launching its own beans. They roast on a BESCA with careful temperature control, splitting their range into two honest camps: dark, chocolatey, nutty blends for espresso, and brighter, fruit-forward coffees for filter. Roasting happens several times a week, with the roast date on every bag. They skip pre-ground — buy whole beans and grind fresh. No big national ambitions; just seriously good coffee for their region.
