elbgold

elbgold is a Hamburg-based specialty coffee roaster with a serious commitment to doing things right. Since 2004, they've been roasting direct-trade beans under their 'Goldstandard' — a promise of uncompromising quality from origin to cup. Fair prices, advance payments, and long-term relationships with producers aren't buzzwords here; they're how they operate. The lineup spans daily-drinker blends like NEUNBAR and MISCHGOLD to single-origin lots from Africa and beyond. They run five cafes across Hamburg (Schanze, Winterhude, Ottensen, Eppendorf, and City), each serving their roasts alongside house-made fare. They also offer a subscription for regular deliveries. Straightforward, principled, built to last.
