El Salvador Puerto Arturo
Summary
Finca Puerto Arturo is located in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range in western El Salvador, run by Karla Quiroz de Moises and Alvaro Moises, whose family has owned the estate for six generations. Grown at 1525-1675 m, the Pacamara cherries are hand-picked, sorted, fermented in a closed oxygen-free environment, then dried in the whole cherry on raised beds in the sun for more than 20 days. The anaerobic natural process yields a sweet, juicy and clean cup with notes of pineapple, mango, cocoa and chocolate.
