Summary
A single-origin decaf coffee from Nicaragua, produced by over 20,000 smallholders within the Aldea Coffee cooperative in the Jinotega highlands. Grown under the Café ECOFORESTAL agroforestry programme at 1100-1300 MASL. Varieties are Caturra and Catuai. Processed using the Sparkling Water decaffeination method (CO2 and water, no chemicals). Medium roasted and suitable for all brew methods. Flavour notes include chocolate milkshake, peanut and pear. Certified by Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade USA, Organic and With Women's Hands. Cupping score of 83.
