Peruvian Fair Trade coffee from the Sol y Cafe co-operative based in Jaen, northeast Peru. Grown at 1600-2000 masl in the Andes mountains. Varieties include Bourbon, Typica, Caturra, Catuai, Pacche and Mondonovo. Light roast with subtle flavours of jasmine, honey and sweet tropical fruit, with a creamy full body and crisp acidity. The co-operative includes over 1000 producer-members and guarantees fair prices for small farmers.
