Monte Libano is a washed Caturra coffee from Olman Valladárez's farm in the Dipilto Mountains of northern Nicaragua. The farm, acquired in 2017 by the Valladárez family, focuses on specialty coffee production with a unique combination of microclimates, soil diversity, and altitude. This coffee offers tasting notes of marzipan, nougat, and vanilla, and is suitable for both espresso and filter brewing. The Valladárez family has cultivated a relationship with Proud Mary since 2018.
