Chelchele

Summary

This coffee comes from the Chelchele washing station in the small town of Worka, in the Gedeb region of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Approximately 500 smallholder farmers deliver their coffee cherries to the station, where Ali Yasin and his team process them. The coffee is washed. It features native heirloom varieties and offers tasting notes of citrus fruit, caramel, and black tea. Suitable for both espresso (1:2.5 ratio) and filter (1:16 ratio) brewing.
