El Salvador | El Angel | Bourbon | Washed
Summary
This coffee comes from Finca El Ángel, a farm located high on the Santa Ana volcano in El Salvador. Purchased by the Silva family in December 2022, the farm was previously owned by the Mathies family who established it in 2018. The farm grows five distinct varieties including Red and Orange Bourbon, Pacamara, SL-28, and Geisha. This lot is of the Bourbon variety and was traditionally washed, emphasizing the variety's juicy acidity. Tasting notes include caramel, melon, and red currant. The coffee is suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
