Summary

This lot comes from the Nyeri region, at the foot of Mount Kenya, with volcanic red soil and high altitude. Mahiga washing station receives cherries from 400 cooperative members. It is a peaberry mix of SL-34 and SL-28, processed using the classic washed method: depulped, fermented 20-24 hours, rinsed, and sun-dried on African beds for about 21 days. In the cup it is elegant with delicate floral and fruity notes, green tea aroma, and ripe apricot complexity, suitable for both filter and espresso.
