A single-origin coffee from the Aceh region around Lake Tawar in Sumatra, Indonesia. Grown at 800-1,500 meters above sea level, this coffee is known for its thick, smooth, intensely full-bodied cup with earthy and herbal notes, backed by muted sweetness and low acidity. It is one of the first specialty coffees, originally sourced from Erna Knutsen, a pioneer of the specialty coffee movement.
