Summary

Kenya AB Asali is a bright, vibrant washed coffee from smallholder producers in Nyeri County, Central Highlands, sourced primarily through the Tambaya Coffee Factory near Mukurwe-ini. Grown at 1500-1800m, ripe cherries are handpicked, sorted and pulped, then soaked 8-16 hours in clean water for clarity and characteristic acidity. Predominantly SL28 and SL34 varieties. Expect raspberry, orange, blackberry and green apple balanced by toffee and lemon, with a clean, lively, aromatic cup, refreshing acidity and a smooth, sweet finish.
