Summary

Thunguri AA is a Kenyan coffee from the Kirinyaga region. The cherries are processed at the Thunguri washing station, part of the Kibirigwi Farmers Co-op Society, with around 1,500 active members. Grown at 1,700-1,800 meters above sea level in deep, fertile red volcanic soil. Varieties: SL28 and SL34. Fully washed processing with double fermentation and extended soaking, contributing to bright acidity and complex fruit notes. Flavor profile: cranberry juice, blackberries, sweet citrus. Recommended for filter brewing.
