Summary
A single origin coffee from the Las Etiopes farm in El Porvenir, Cajamarca, Peru. The farm is managed by Simon Brown and Merlith Cruz and features Ethiopian heirloom varieties alongside traditional Caturra grown on steep, terraced slopes. Processed using washed method with wet fermentation: hand-picked cherries are floated, pulped, fermented in sealed barrels for 3-5 days, then dried on covered raised beds for 10-14 days. Tasting notes include candied peel, apricot, and brown sugar.
