Pewniak Grejpfrut
Summary
Pewniak Grejpfrut (formerly Summer Blend) is a blend of 60% Colombian and 40% Ethiopian coffee. The Colombian component comes from smallholder farmers in Palestina, Huila, organised around the CADEFIHUILA cooperative, using Tabi and Caturra varieties grown at 1700 m. The Ethiopian component comes from Bitta Farm in Kaffa, owned by Mullege, using JARC selections 74110, 74112, 74140 and 8136, grown at 1900–2050 m. Both are washed processed, producing a clean cup with sweet and citrus acidity and notes of grapefruit, coconut flakes and honey.
