Kenia Kii Aa Natural
Summary
A small-lot Kenyan coffee from the Kii Coffee Factory in Kirinyaga, at the foot of Mount Kenya, one of three stations of the Rungeto Farmers' Cooperative Society supplied by around 850 smallholders. Grown at 1600-1800 m from SL28, SL34 and Batian, it is a rare Kenyan natural, dried inside the whole fruit rather than the station's usual washed process. The cup is fruity and floral with blackcurrant, black cherry, plum and raspberry, medium-high sweetness and acidity and a light roast.
