Rung'eto Kii - Kenya

Summary

A fully washed Kenyan single origin from Kii Factory, one of three washing stations of the Rung'eto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County. Grown between 1,600 and 1,800 masl in clay-loam soils near Mount Kenya, the lot combines SL 28, SL 34, Batian and Ruiru 11 varieties. Ripe cherries are sorted, pulped, fermented overnight, washed, graded and dried on raised beds for 8-14 days. Light roasted, with a clean, structured cup and notes of loquat, golden raisin and citron tea.
