Summary
Papua New Guinea single-origin coffee processed at Kindeng Mill in the Western Highlands (Jiwaka province), sourcing from about 1500 smallholder farmers in the Kindeng and Arufa communities whose farms average 1-2 ha. The coffee is naturally processed: cherries are delivered to the mill, processed and dried on raised beds and tarps, turned several times a day, over about a month. Grown at 1520-1770 masl on fertile soils in the Waghi river valley. Botanical varieties: Arusha, Bourbon, Typica. Roasted for filter brewing methods. Sensory profile: cherries, dark chocolate, winey acidity.
