Uganda - Zebigi

Summary

Single-origin washed coffee from Uganda's Upper Bukyabo region, produced by Coffee Gardens. Grown at 1800-2200 m.a.s.l. from SL14, SL28 and Nyasaland varieties. Cherries are pulped within hours of harvest, undergo a signature fermentation with a pre-wash, long cold spring water soak and 40-hour gentle fermentation, then sorted at 12 stages before export. Taste profile features chamomile tea with lemon and hazelnut cream. Suitable for all filter coffee methods; also available as an espresso roast. Sold as roasted whole bean coffee.
