Colombia Bourbon Hermoso
Summary
Colombian specialty coffee from Campo Hermoso farm in Circasia, Quindio, produced by Edwin Norena. Red Bourbon variety grown at 1800m altitude. Processed using natural drying combined with carbonic maceration: ripe cherries are fermented whole in sealed tanks under a carbon dioxide-rich, near-anaerobic environment, then dried naturally. The result is an expressive cup with notes of sour cherries, redcurrant and bergamot, balanced by dark chocolate, with intensified fruit character, sweetness and juicy texture. Roasted as an omni roast, suitable for both espresso and filter brewing. Cupping score 87.
