Mexico Puebla
Summary
This Mexico Puebla coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the Puebla region, specifically near Cuetzalan and Zacapoaxtla in the Sierra Norte at 1250-1850 metres above sea level. The coffee is grown on small family-owned farms in volcanic soils under shade trees. Varieties include Colombia, Oro Azteca, Sarchimor, Caturra and Mundo Novo. It undergoes a washed process, resulting in flavours of cherry candy, green apple and caramel. The roast level is light to medium, suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
