Rwanda Birembo
Summary
Rwanda Birembo is a specialty single origin coffee from Rwanda, made from 100% Red Bourbon variety beans. The coffee is processed using the fully washed method with 36-hour water fermentation at the Birembo washing station, located at approximately 1500m elevation in western Rwanda. Cherries are sourced from around 600 smallholder farmers who grow coffee at 1700–2000m on volcanic soils. The sensory profile features notes of strawberry, mango, apricot, and cocoa, with medium acidity, pronounced sweetness, and a smooth, slightly oily body. Available as drip bag sachets for convenient pour-over brewing.
